Mary Sette is a writer, director, and illustrator based in Los Angeles.

Her animated short film HOT TODDY—a teeny-bopper murder mystery—was a Programmer’s Pick at SeriesFest.

She's shown her artwork at events like the Toronto Comic Arts Festival and Small Press Expo. Currently, Mary is working on her first graphic novel, HORRIBLE CORPSES.

Mary received her MFA from USC's John Wells Division of Writing for Screen and Television and her BA from George Washington University, where she double-majored in English and Creative Writing.

Mary is originally from a small farm town in New Jersey known for its meatballs and regret.

She is full of regret.


Horrible Corpses

HORRIBLE CORPSES is a graphic novel set in a surreal, absurdist afterlife, where a teenage girl is forced to reckon with the haunting aftermath of her suicide.

A darkly comedic existential thriller where, in the end, life is the real killer.
